How to Wire a Light Kit Ceiling Fan

Wire cutters: To trim and strip the wires.

Ceiling fan hook or brace: If your ceiling does not have an existing fan hook, you'll need to install one.

Ladder: A sturdy and stable ladder tall enough to reach the ceiling.

2. Prepare the Electrical Box
