Step 1: Turn Off the Power

Before you begin working on the fan, turn off the power to the room at the circuit breaker. This will prevent any electrical shocks.

Step 2: Remove the Old Fan (if applicable)

If you are replacing an old ceiling fan, you will need to remove it before installing the new one. To do this, simply unscrew the mounting bracket from the ceiling and disconnect the wires.

Step 3: Install the Mounting Bracket

Once the old fan is removed, you can install the mounting bracket for the new fan. The mounting bracket will come with screws that you will need to insert into the ceiling joists. Once the screws are in place, tighten the bracket until it is secure.

Step 4: Connect the Wires
