Installing a ceiling light with two switches is a relatively simple task that can be completed in a few hours. By following these step-by-step instructions, you can safely and correctly wire your light fixture.

Materials You'll Need:

Ceiling light fixture
Two light switches
Electrical wire
Wire strippers
Screwdriver
Electrical tape

Step 1: Turn Off the Power

Before starting any electrical work, it is important to turn off the power to the circuit that you will be working on. This can be done by flipping the breaker or removing the fuse from the electrical panel.

Step 2: Remove the Old Light Fixture

If there is an existing light fixture, remove it by unscrewing the mounting screws and disconnecting the wires. Be careful not to drop the light fixture or damage the wires.
