### Step 1: Gather Your Tools and Materials

New ceiling fan switch with light
Phillips screwdriver
Electrical tape
Wire strippers
Non-contact voltage tester

### Step 2: Safety First

Before you begin, make sure the power to the ceiling fan is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Use a non-contact voltage tester to confirm that the power is off before proceeding.

### Step 3: Remove the Old Switch
